Teacher Appreciation Week is the first week of May for most schools. My son’s elementary school already celebrated a couple months ago due to their year round schedule. Whether your child’s school has a day or a week, here are ideas to inspire you …
We repeated the idea we came up with last year and sent in small bags of Hershey’s Kisses with printed labels attached that he signed.
Dylan made tissue paper flowers – one for his teacher and one for his teaching assistant. He chose the colors and the pipe cleaners. We helped him with the initial fold and cut, but otherwise, this project was all him. Find the tutorial we followed here.
For our school, this has been an optional choice of something off either the classroom wish list or the teacher’s personal wish list. We opted for something off the teacher’s list and got small bottles of shower gel & lotion for both his teacher & teaching assistant.
We packaged them simply in colorful gift bags and tied on small personalized tags I created in Photoshop, then cut with my Silhouette. (Font – Luna; Heart – heART Elements by Pink Reptile Designs)
