1/365: Family

January 2, 2009 Sarah Coggins

Our new years plans switched gears yesterday morning. We had driven up to my mother’s house in Virginia on Wednesday night to spend a few days and celebrate a late Christmas. Unfortunately, she caught a not too nice bug and wanted to spare the rest of us (probably get a little quiet rest too, which I fully understand). So, along with my sister and her husband, we packed up our cars yesterday around noon to return to North Carolina. In the process we managed to convince “little” brother (can I still call him little at 21?) to come along. He’s on college break for a few more weeks so why not enjoy a road trip with his siblings? Trent joked we are “sharing custody” of him with my sister as he’s here until Sunday and then we’ll drive him to her home about an hour & a half east where he’ll spend a few days before returning to Virigina.

This little adventure gave me an opportunity last night to start the Project 365 process and how better than capturing the boys enjoying a little couch time. 🙂

And, for Mom, who I know reads my blog quite frequently and also worries about her kids no matter how old they are 🙂 – we’re having a great time. Get some rest and feel better!

Well, I'm sorry to hear your mum is sick, but it sounds like you're all having fun and better you don't get it if you can avoid it!

    Love the picture!
