39 weeks

July 3, 2009 Sarah Coggins

How far along? 39 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Up a little over 1lb from last week

Maternity clothes? Yes. And some of the maternity tops are now too short to cover my belly.

Stretch marks? Yes. And I should be careful what I wish for. I now have matching stretch marks on the other side of my belly button. LOL

Sleep: Waking up a little more frequently.

Best moment this week: Trent’s “conversation” with the baby on Tuesday night. I was standing next to the couch where Trent was sitting, he leaned forward and said to my belly, “Hello? Anyone in there?” I told him to let me know if he got a response – not realizing that Cali was standing on the coffee table immediately behind me. She meowed loudly. Trent, with his ear by my belly, said, “I hear something.” LOL Cracked me up. I’m still laughing at the memory.

Movement: Still plenty of stretching and pushing out. Hiccups at least once a day.

Food cravings: None in particular. I continue to have a huge appetite and eat 5-6 times per day.

Labor Signs: None.

Belly Button in or out? Flat.

What I am looking forward to: My prenatal massage this afternoon and one more weekend of relaxing.

Milestones: Definitely having a July baby now. Just a matter of when.

Energy Level: Pretty good. I’m not full of energy, but not completely worn out either.

I think this is the coolest way to record your childs life. Things you would forget or never record can be easily done in a blog. Your sharing make me remember things I have forgotten and can record too.
Can't wait to see the little guy, I hope you post a pic. Good Luck!
