Hello! I’m Sarah. Welcome to my little slice of the web.

I love to express my creative side through art, photography, scrapbooking and a bit of DIY. In the fall of 2012, we sold our first house and purchased a home that had gone into foreclosure. We  spend at least a small portion of each weekend on another project in our “new to us” house (aka foreclosure to home).

My family always comes first after my faith. I have been married to the love of my life since 2003. I am mom to one adorable son (born July 2009) and a sweet baby girl (born October 2014).

I am a survivor of endometriosis and miscarriage (times 2).

I was born and raised in the South. I say y’all, like my tea sweet, but am not a fan of barbeque or grits.

I started blogging in the late 90s before the term even existed! I had my own website and wrote about my challenges with endometriosis. At the time there was little information and, what I could find, was dated so I decided to share my experiences. After making significant progress in my own battle, and lack of awareness of how far my reach was (remember, this was pre-comment days), I took a time out and stepped away from blogging.

In October 2007, I returned to blogging with the start of this site to share my scrapbooking & craft ideas. I continue with those today along with parenting tidbits, home improvement projects, and more. I blog to share and because, frankly, I’m a bit talkative. 😉

Thanks for stopping by!
