One of our favorite rides at Walt Disney World? The Kilimanjaro Safaris in Animal Kingdom. It’s a bit wild (pun intended) with plenty to see. My son grabbed our point & shoot camera from me and had a blast taking photos as we rode along.

He took a LOT of photos. Many of them animal rear ends. Eh hmm. Seven year old humor. Needless to say I weeded through and selected the best of for our album. Truthfully, he got quite a few really good shots. My little budding photographer. 🙂

The rest of the photos I took with my iPhone including his little sister excitedly waiting to board, and my own wild selfie. For the latter, I was trying for a slightly nicer “group” shot thinking I still had a moment before the ride started. Nope. The driver hit the gas. Thus my crazed expression. It makes me laugh though and is so “in the moment” that I had to include it.

Do you include not so perfect photos in your vacation albums?

My girls took a million pictures on the safari, too. And I was so worried about B trying to get out that I think I blocked the whole ride. I had completely forgotten about it until I saw the pictures in the timehop. D did a great job on yours!

Funny! I had a hand on E the entire ride (visible in the top left photo) because I was worried she would fall out. She kept trying to lean out and look. Since her brother had a camera, she wanted one too and was trying to use my iPhone. Which led to my other fear - loosing my phone on the ride!
