Beautiful Day

April 9, 2010 Sarah Coggins
We’ve been suffering under a thick layer of yellow green pollen this week.  According to news reports on Wednesday, our pollen count was 3 times normal.  Overnight we had a good thunderstorm which washed it all away.  And while I’m sure some more may appear in the next few days, it was nice to walk outside this morning and find the world clean & colorful again.

LOL, I can so relate! My silver Civic has been yellow for days. If it would just stay off of my glass. My poor windshield wipers... (Garage? What garage? That's my smoking room, lolol). xoxo

I love the new look of your blog. The pollen has been bad here too. I was so happy for the rain that came on Thursday. I'm glad you had a nice Easter. The photo of Dylan with his bag is so cute.

Beautiful flowers! It's a shame they make us feel miserable at times in the spring :)

Good luck with your upcoming busy times...and it's great to know someone else with (significantly) younger siblings! Cheers to our brothers the soon-to-be college grads :)

I saw green buds on our trees for the first time this morning - I was really excited until I remembered the sneezing fits I was have the day before. Have you heard of buying local honey to help allergies? It's supposed to build your immunity to your area's pollen - it's always helped me.

Thanks for stopping by my blog - it's always nice to make new friends.
