Currently, I am …

working on getting back into my groove after a week’s vacation at the beach with family. Refreshing. Fun. Exhausting. Looking forward to next year.

starting my Week in the Life album for last month. I’m trying “pocket style” this year but continuing to create it digitally. I like that if I want, I could print 2 copies so each of the kids will have their own someday.

Supplies: Back to Basics Pocket Pages templates by Gennifer Bursett; Happy Go Lucky elements by Jennifer Allyson; Carefree washi tape & Play Ball kit by Robyn Meierotto; Metro kit by One Little Bird; Sprung brushes by Karla Dudley; This & That brushes by Scotty Girl Design.

planning for my daughter’s birthday next month. And still in a bit of denial that my baby will be one next month. How is that even possible?

and also planning for Halloween. We do family themed costumes each year. We had a plan early on for this year, but, thankfully, I procrastinated because my son recently suggested a new idea that seems easier to DIY. Thus, we’re going with Idea #2 because I’m all about easy DIY right now.

impatiently waiting for less humid weather so I can use spray paint for a DIY project for my daugther’s new room. I’m working very slowly on it in general trying to get things “just right” and not rush to complete it. The important parts (paint and main furniture) are in place andย it functions which is really what matters most.

reading (or about to start reading) The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes by Diane Chamberlaine. I’ve enjoyed reading a number of her books so I have high hopes this will be another good one. I also am on the wait list for two other books from our library – The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah and The Hypnotist’s Love Story by Liane Moriarty. These 3 authors are some of my personal favorites right now. I don’t think I’ve found a book by any of them that I haven’t enjoyed.

What are you up to currently?

Oh good, because I've been feeling lazy & uninspired post-vacation! I realized I hadn't done a "currently" post in a year so it seemed like a good time.
