Dinosaur Footprints in Clay

Dinosaur Footprints

September 29, 2011 Sarah Coggins

On a cool weather afternoon, I decided to try a new craft with our son that I found online – dinosaur fossils by Our Crafts ~N~ Things. Since our dinosaur toys are much larger than theirs, we had fun making “fossils” of their footprints in clay.

Dinosaur Prints Digital Scrapbook Page

Supplies: Simply Tiffany Studios 52 Thursday Templates Template No 28; Jen Martakis’s Roar kit; Another Typewriter font.

To create your own, simply make small circular pats of clay. Take your dinosaur toy and press the feet firmly into the clay to create a print. Set aside to dry. Repeat with a few dinosaur toys and have fun matching up the dinosaurs and their footprints later.
