Saturday morning my daughter and I headed to the mall early with our ticket in hand for a special Disney Haunted Halloween event offered to Disney Visa cardholders. She wore her Elsa dress and crown. I wore my Minnie Mouse shirt and sparkly ears.

The fun started with all the young attendees helping to turn the magic key and light up the store. Then we headed in for the special Halloween event which began video featuring 3 of Disney’s famous villains (Cruella de Vil, Evil Queen, and Maleficent). Naturally, they were up to no good and wanted to ruin our fun.

Cast members led the kids around the store finding friends and learning tricks to help defeat the villains. They made scary faces and noises and learned to walk like Franken-Goofy.

I got “mummified” with the help of a bit of crepe paper. Each of the kids were given a “magic” Mickey bracelet that lights up as we gathered again in the center of the store. The villains returned and, using all of the new tricks, we defeated them and saved the party!

The Haunted Halloween event was so cute and such a fun way to start our day.
What was one of your favorite moments this weekend?
