Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant Review

April 13, 2016 Sarah Coggins

Influenster sent me the “Do Deo Better” VoxBox featuring Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant in March. I was a curious to try the Cool Essentials Dry Spray. I’ve been a lifelong Dove Beauty Bar user, but haven’t been as committed on their antiperspirant options. None have been strong enough.

Meanwhile, the antiperspirants that I find that are strong, seem to be too rough on my skin. I want to find that happy in-between and the Dry Spray is the closest I’ve come.

Pros

  • The Dove Dry Spray antiperspirants keep us at least as dry as any other antiperspirants we have used; and
  • is gentler on our skin.
  • Both the Dove Cool Essentials & Men+Care Clean Comfort scents smell great.

Cons

  • The aerosol can. I’m not a huge fan of using them in general, but also, even turning my head while applying, I feel like I’m inhaling this product.

Overall, I do think this is a good product and it has me wanting to retry the Dove Cool Essentials Solid in hopes maybe I can get similar results. I don’t see either of us using an aerosol antiperspirant regularly. Also, as much as I love Dove, I do think the “48 hours” advertised on both the Dry Sprays and Solids is a huge stretch. Living in North Carolina where our summers are very hot & humid, I’ve never found an antiperspirant or deodorant that can do that.

Have you tried Dove Dry Spray or other spray antiperspirant?
