Yesterday we spent the afternoon with friends at a local farm. The kids had a blast playing. We hadn’t visited this particular farm in a few years and the number of activities had greatly increased!
Supplies: In the Pumpkin Patch kit by Laura Passage; Happy Fall Y’all kit by Meredith Cardall.
I spent much of my time watching and taking photos as well as catching up with my friends (hurray for adults getting a moment to chat while the kids play!).
Our entire group of 21 tackled the corn maze together. A few might say we got lost. I prefer to say we fully explored the entire maze. I think we might have seen every dead end. It was an adventure. 😉 And I still don’t believe stop number 6 existed. Trent claims he saw it, but I never did.
A few of the kids chose to wear their Halloween costumes. Including my pair. I missed getting a good photo of them together (a must on Saturday when we are all in costume) but it was fun watching “Shaggy” and “Velma” playing together in the corn crib. One of the few activities Elise could participate in. Next year I’m sure I’ll be chasing her all over.
And we did manage to get a couple of family photos. This one with one of the 2 giant chairs was a quick shot at the start of our visit.
How did you spend your weekend?
