Gnome & Fairy Day: Nature Play

Gnome & Fairy Day

May 1, 2018 Sarah Coggins

Last year we attended our first Gnome & Fairy Day at Prairie Ridge Ecostation. It was the sweetest event. There were crafts and nature fun for kids to enjoy and celebrate the day.

Both of our kids had fun creating accessories which they proudly wore the entire time. He made a gnome hat. She decorated fairy wings. They made magical “potions” and crafted a large gnome home from wood, bamboo, and flowers.

So much fun was had. The annual event is repeating this weekend and I’m sad knowing I have to miss due to a work event. If you are in the Raleigh area, check it out. It’s a fun morning of imaginative joy.
