Heart Suncatcher

One of our son’s neighborhood friends spent a couple of hours with us on Friday morning. I decided to try a craft project with the boys using the same method I did last year for a shamrock and pumpkin. This time making a heart for Valentine’s Day.

Supplies

• Red cardstock
• Clear Contact Paper
• Tissue paper – red, pink, and white

Instructions

Step 1 Cut a large heart shaped outline from a piece of red cardstock paper and place it on a sheet of clear contact paper.

Step 2 Cut lots of small squares & rectangles from the tissue paper.

Step 3 Stick pieces of tissue paper inside the heart shape. They can be spread out or overlapping – however you desire!

Step 4 Add another piece of Contact paper on top of the completed art project to seal it. Trim the excess.

Step 5 Hang and enjoy your creation!
