Last Tuesday we all the day together. The weather was perfect (sunny and 70) so we seized the opportunity to head to the Museum of Life + Science in Durham to play in their outdoor exhibit – Hideaway Woods.
Supplies: Hello, Cutie kit by Amy Wolff (background paper); Project Mouse (At Sea) bundle by Britt-ish Designs & Sahlin Studio (patterned paper & sun); heART elements by Pink Reptile Designs (yellow paint); Have Coordinates will Cache kit by Amber LaBau (labels & pine needles); How ‘Bout Them Apples elements by Mommyish (wood slice).
We’ve been a couple of times since it opened, but this was the first time Elise could walk well and really explore on her own. She loved exploring the paths and treehouses plus chasing after Dylan. Meanwhile he was busy climbing as high as possible with a few breaks to explore and build with wood slices.
Do you have a favorite outdoor play spot?
