Holiday Traditions: Santa Photo

December 7, 2015 Sarah Coggins

Each year our playgroup meets for our annual Santa photo. We have had a few of everything – crying kids, non-crying kids, some choosing not to get in the photo, and, sometimes, we moms jump in to. As was the case this year because the two little girls were NOT fans of Santa at all.

Supplies: 25 Days Till Christmas by Anita Designs; Christmas Magic by Karen Funk.

I had planned to get a photo of my kids on their own with Santa as well, but it wasn’t meant to be this year. My daughter was just far too terrified of the guy in red. We’ll see him again at another event later this week so there is still hope, but I’m betting it’ll be next year before it happens.

Do you or your children take an annual Santa photo?

We never started this tradition because our kids were just never fans of Santa. I gave up after a while, lol!

We have a picture with the big two this year with Santa...but nobody else wanted one, so we didn't try with them (I didn't want to wait in line for screaming this year...but I do love a good Santa + screaming kid picture!)

OMG I love this! I didn't even recognize Mason at first because they are all so big...and Alicia has the bangs which I love...and everyone looks beautiful and happy (as always).
