Infant Car Seat Cover

January 26, 2012 Sarah Coggins

Another winter baby expected in our playgroup, meant another car seat cover. This time I went with a fun polka dot fabric:

I used the same soft yellow flannel for the inside:

As with the infant car seat cover I made last fall, I again referred to a couple of online tutorials – Sutton Grace: Infant Seat Canopy Cover and Make it Do: Baby Car Seat Cover Tutorial.

Supplies: 1-1/3 yard of each fabric; thread; velcro.

    Sarah,
I'm just loving this cover so much. I wish I had someone that needed one and I'd talk to you about it the next time you're at Wish. Very cute, to say the least. I'm also loving the cute post you put up about the new play set and the farewell to the old one. So adorable.

I've seen some covers with elastic on the top part of the cover.
Do you think this is needed?
I love this cover you have.

Thank you! They seem to work fine like this, but you could certainly add elastic.
