Influenster "I Do" VoxBox Review

Influenster “I Do” VoxBox Review

August 5, 2015 Sarah Coggins

In late June I received a box of free samples from Influenster as part of the “I Do” VoxBox. It included 2 snack items, makeup, pain relief powder, hand cream and an anti-aging type cream pictured below. If you missed my unboxing video, you can view it on YouTube here.

Now that I have had the opportunity to try (most of) the products, here are my personal opinions on each of the items:

Grab & Go Almonds with Cranberries, Honey & Sea Salt from Sahale Snacks – so tasty! I am not a fan of cranberries, but even I loved this snack. Combined with the almonds, honey & sea salt, it’s a tasty combination. So much so, that Dylan literally took half the bag from me. I could definitely see us buying this product.

SkinnyGirl Lemon Swirl Nutrition Bar – I was worried this would have more a lemon bar dessert like taste which isn’t my favorite. I was wrong. The lemon flavor is there but not nearly as strong. The bar was honestly a lot tastier than I expected, but I doubt I’ll actually purchase this product as I’m not a nutrition bar eater in general.

Ache & Pain Relief To Go from UrgentRx – a single packet contains powdered pain relief medicine in a lemon-lime flavor. Simply tear packet, dump powder into your mouth, and swallow. This is a great idea for a purse or diaper bag so you have easy access to pain relief on the go. I haven’t had a need for it yet so I can’t speak to how well it works or how it tastes.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation and Outlast Longwear Lipstick – I’ve been a pretty devoted department store makeup wearer for years, but gave these a try to see how they compared. The foundation is thicker than what I am used to. It went on well, but felt heavier on my skin. Not sure I’m convinced on this product.

The lipstick was a definite win though. I hardly wear lipstick ever and any tubes I have laying around are probably so old they should have been tossed out at least 5 years ago. Thankfully the new Outlast Longwear Lipstick came in a color that was perfect for me and stays on well.

Neutrogena Hand Cream – I already like and use Neutrogena products so I was certain this was a perfect fit. And it was. I had been using the Neutrogena Foot Cream on my feet nightly and now have added the Hand Cream to my routine as well.

Nanoblur™ from Indeed Labs – I had never heard of this product or brand before. Per the website “nanoblur™ helps transform your skin, immediately smoothing and softening the appearance of enlarged pores and lines while mattifying skin.” You can wear it alone or over your foundation. I tried it over my foundation. Honestly, I didn’t notice any change. It isn’t a product I would buy.

All in all, I loved 3 of the 7 products and would consider purchasing myself in the future. Pretty good I think for a box of mystery samples. Did you get the “I Do” VoxBox or are familiar with any of these products? Which are your favorite?
