Joe’s Place

February 5, 2009 Sarah Coggins

Last May, my friend, Kim, and I got together for a belated Christmas celebration. We had dinner at a restaurant downtown called Joe’s Place which sadly closed it’s doors last week. I guess I wasn’t completely surprised. As you can tell from the photos – the restaurant was nearly empty. Only one other small party came in while we were there. Nonetheless, it was a shame to loose this special Raleigh spot.

Supplies: miscellaneous red cardstock; We R Memory Keepers patterned paper; black stamp ink; Fontwerks label sticker; Martha Stewart Crafts sepia pen; Stampin’ Up black marker; Making Memories letter stickers

Great layout. So sorry to hear about the restaurant closing :( I know how much that stinks as it happened to us recently with our favorite restaurant :(

It's always quite the disappointment to loose a favorite place! At least you have some good memories there!

Love the LO! It is sad when a favorite place closes. It's neat that you have a pic, though.

It's no fun when that happens; restaurants that open here often don't make it :(
