A Look Back at 2016

January 2, 2017 Sarah Coggins

Sometimes I forget exactly how much we do in a year. This morning as I started searching through photos to complete the day 2 challenge at The Lilypad, I took a look back at 2016 and realized just how many places we had been & things we had done over the past 12 months – and this barely touches the surface.

Supplies: July 2016 free template (altered) and Flashback kit by Sahlin Studio; Per Diem elements by Sara Gleason; Block Party papers by Amber LaBau.

I *think* I remembered all of the museums we visited by heart. I know I remembered our 2 zoo trips – one to the NC Zoo and one to the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. There were countless park adventures that didn’t make the cut though.

Of course, I had to include a photo of me wearing my daughter since that’s been a pretty constant throughout our year. So grateful that she still loves being “my monkey.” 🙂

Overall, 2016 was very good to us. From our adventures to time with family & friends plus a new job for me – we were truly blessed. Looking forward to seeing where 2017 takes us!

Hope your new year is off to a great start!
