Weekly Meal Plan: complete

Meal Planning Made Easy

Growing up, dinner time seemed effortless. I’m not sure how my mom managed it with 3 kids at home, a full time job, etc. Before kids, dinner was pretty effortless on our part. Once my son started eating solids though, we realized we needed a plan and I finally understood why so many moms meal plan.

I’m grateful to be able to stay at home, but that doesn’t make meal time any less stressful. Between after school pickups, laundry, cleaning the house, running errands, writing blog posts, etc – my days can be very full and I’m exhausted by dinner time. Honestly, I don’t always want to meal plan each week, but I have learned that when I put forth that little effort one day a week, dinner time is a much more relaxing and enjoyable part of my day.

Weekly Meal Plan: free printable

I use a simple weekly meal plan sheet to list all of our meals for the week and create my grocery list at the same time. This takes the stress of “what’s for dinner” out of our nights and saves us money because I’m buying what we need to make specific meals – not just randomly shopping.

Download a copy of my weekly meal plan sheet HERE and start your simple meal planning today to take the stress out of “what’s for dinner?”

My second secret? I allow myself space for help. Not every meal has to be 100% made from scratch (okay, I’m not sure any of my meals are!). I’m grateful for products I can pick up and work into our meal plan to make our busier nights a step easier and provide my family a meal at home where we can be together & enjoy one another’s company.

The Frozen Rewards Club at Publix makes it simple to provide my family meals and save money at the same time. Each time you spend $30 on frozen products from Bertolli, Healthy Choice, P.F. Chang’s, and Marie Callender’s, you can earn a $10 Publix gift card. Just take a photo of your receipt and upload to the Frozen Rewards Club. It’s that easy. No coupons to clip or any codes to remember. The items can be purchased in multiple visits – just upload each applicable receipt and watch your gift card total increase. A maximum $50 in gift cards can be earned. Note: this offer is only valid through April 30, 2016.

It also makes it easy to surprise my family with a dessert – an extra special treat on weeknights!
