momAgenda Review: First Thoughts

I decided to try a new planner for the upcoming year. I had been eyeing the momAgenda planner for some time specifically because I liked the layout design of the weekly pages. There is room not only for my own schedule, but where I can jot down those of the kids as well plus even my blog and our meal plan.

momAgenda: weekly layout

During the past year, I had been using a 5×7 planner from BlueSky. Liking the spiral bound finish, but wanting a little more space, I decided to try the spiral momAgenda which is 7×9.

Initially, I have mixed feelings about this planner. See why and get my first thoughts in the following video:

If you’ve used a momAgenda planner or a planner with a similar layout before, do you have any tips for me for making the pages easier to locate?

I have never used this type of planner. I decided to try out Erin Condren's new hourly layout- because my blog posts have a time/due date, the kids school things are always happening, and not to mention, booking photo shoots. We'll see!

I've heard of the Erin Condren planners mentioned several times and, possibly now available at Staples? That would be a plus so at least I could thumb through one in person before committing. I'm starting to use the momAgenda now and, so far, it seems to be working well for me. I just wish I could adjust the section arrangement. The fumbling from month to week is a bit annoying. Curious to see how your planner works for you as the year progresses.
