Mommy & Me Monday: First Family Photo

July 18, 2016 Sarah Coggins

I’m feeling a bit sentimental this morning and decided to share a photo from 2009 – our very first family photo – because tomorrow he’ll be 7 years old. Seven! I can’t get over how fast time flies.

First Family Photo - July 2009

That tiny baby (well, tiny to me now – he was a big 8lb 12oz at birth) is now over 4 feet tall, has completed his first week of second grade, and is a pretty awesome big brother most of the time. I’m so grateful God gave him to us and that he made me a mom. What an amazing blessing. The days are long (as evidenced by his sister who just wanted me to rock her at 1am today – who can turn down that extra bit of snuggles?), but those years are far too short.
