When my son brought this paper plate bat home from preschool I knew I had to share. It’s such an adorable Halloween craft for kids and simple to make.

Paper Plate Bat Craft

Here is how to create your own bat:

Supplies

  • 2 small paper plates
  • Black acrylic paint
  • White paper
  • Googly eyes or sticker eyes

Instructions

Step 1 Paint the underside of both plates with black acrylic paint and set aside to dry.

Step 2 After the plates have dried, use scissors to cut a couple of arcs into one of the plates to create wings. You could also cut straight across.

Step 3 Use glue to attach the wings to the paper plate body.

Step 4 Cut 2 small triangles from white paper for the fangs. Glue onto the body.

Step 5 Add sticker or googly eyes.

Your Paper Plate Bat is complete! Hang to enjoy and decorate for Halloween.
