Project 52 Photos: Week 38 Above

Project 52 Photos: Above

September 23, 2015 Sarah Coggins

I took this photo yesterday while standing above Elise as she looked through one of the bins of board books in our library. It seems she already loves books as much as the rest of the family. We checked out several – a few board books for her and 3 new readers for Dylan. As soon as we got home and I set the bag in front of her, she began pulling out the books to look at and happily babbling while doing so.

I also checked out one real book for myself. I say “real” because lately it seems I’ve only been borrowing eBooks. My friend, Andrea, recommended the new book George by Alex Gino and I spotted it on the “New” shelf close to the library entry. I started reading it last night and could barely put it down. Will most likely finish today. Definitely worth the read. I’ll leave it at that so I don’t give anything away.

Books are wonderful! I'm so grateful both my kids love them. The best for me now is watching my oldest read to his sister. <3
