I failed to complete last week’s Project 52 challenge – long exposure. It’s something I don’t know how to do and want to learn, but ended up not having the time. Determined to play catch up with that one at some point.
This week I’m on top of things and sharing my colorful picture – the Superman tooth fairy pillow I made for Dylan.
I actually made this a couple months ago. Nothing too fancy. Just pulled from my stash of fabric scraps. The Superman fabric was leftover from making pillow cases for a custom order. Dylan is really into superheroes right now so I knew it would be a hit.
My intent was to hide the pillow until his first tooth was loose, but I failed to hide it well and he found it! He was excited and has moved it from the doorknob to one of the posts on his bed and back again. He’s even stuck in his own dollar and plucked it out in the morning teasing us that the tooth fairy came. 😉 Uh huh.
Anyhow, this seemed like the perfect week to share a photo of this little sewing project of mine as it met the challenge AND guess who has his first loose tooth? Looks like the tooth fairy will be making an appearance very soon.
If you have young kids, has the tooth fairy visited your house recently?
Join in the fun at any time. Next week’s challenge is music. Find the full list on Sarah Halstead’s blog here. Thanks to Sarah, Amy, and Angie for hosting each week.
