Project 52 Photos: Week 20 Nature

Project 52 Photos: Nature

May 23, 2015 Sarah Coggins

During a trip to the countryside of Virginia this past week to visit family, we stopped by our favorite local nursery.

It amazed me all the questions Dylan had about the plants. George kindly took time to answer them plus teach him how to “snap” snapdragons. Afterward he helped my Mom plant some in her garden.

Part of our holiday weekend will include planting the new tomato plant George gave him to bring home – our little “nature” souvenir from the trip. Given Dylan’s love of all vegetables, my bet is he’ll eat most right off the plant and they’ll never make it into the house!

Join in the fun at any time. Next week’s challenge is family. Find the full list on Sarah Halstead’s blog here. Thanks to Sarah, Amy, and Angie for hosting each week.

I love going to green houses! I love seeing all the different flowers that they have.

Me, too! And this was extra special since we know the owners. My son even got to taste test a lot of the fresh herbs. He regularly eats some straight out of our yard! I think I may have to increase our plantings based on what he was trying and enjoying.
