Project 52 Photos: Silhouette

March 27, 2015 Sarah Coggins

Our cat is known for “disappearing” around the house. Amazing all the places she finds to hide and take a nap. Earlier in the week I spotted her in Dylan’s bed. This is hilarious to me because she used to avoid him at all costs. In the last year she has suddenly come around to him a bit. I guess she’s liking him more or at least liking his bed when he isn’t in it!

Project 52 Photos: Week 12 Silhouette

Seeing her there inspired me to try to get a photo for this week’s themeĀ – silhouette. It didn’t quite turn out as I intended, but at least I got her to look to the side long enough for me to snap it.

Join in the fun at any time. Next week’s challenge is Technology. Find the full list on Sarah Halstead’s blog here. Thanks to Sarah, Amy, and Angie for hosting each week.

My tortie is SUCH a people person! Even with kids now. She used to dislike young children, but since L has been around she figures that's her only way to get attention. I love torties. :)

Cali was so-so about Dylan when he was an infant. Once he could move, she was over him completely and snuck around the house trying to avoid. Amazingly now she will come up to him to be petted and will come up to Elise to sniff her. She's even let Elise "pet" her (I use the term loosely with a 5mo baby!) on occasion. Curious to see what happens once Elise really gets mobile. But, yes, I think Cali has realized one of the best ways to get attention is from the 5 year old. He's less distracted than the rest of us.

Thanks! I need to work harder to get a better shot, but grateful she sat still long enough for at least one! ha. She's got quite the attitude and does only what she wants to do. ;)

What a cute cat! I miss my cat. We had to get rid of it because of our dog. That is ok though- it was just a barn cat- so one of those belonged to no one animals lol.
