Last weekend, we took part in the annual Dino Egg Hunt at the Museum of Life + Science. Besides the hunt, there were several dinosaur related activities including dusting off dinosaur fossils. The kids had the spot to themselves for a few minutes and I love this photo – one focused & serious and one squealing with delight. I guess I need to toss some old paintbrushes in our sandbox! We still have a few fossils in there leftover from the Four-esta party she could “discover.”
And, in true spring weather fashion in North Carolina, while it was cold enough for coats & hats last weekend, we were sweating in pants & short sleeves during a family hunt yesterday. Now, if we can just have a dry weekend for the rest of our Easter fun. Fingers crossed.
Linking up with Photo Friday.
