I think I pretty much had my mind made up on the drive to the Children’s Museum in Graham last weekend that I would get my photo for the week at their glass painting room. This is one of my favorite features at this museum and one of the reasons my son has been asking to visit again.
My daughter is still a bit young so we positioned her outside of the space and asked D to come paint for her. He started by painting the pink heart and “I love you.” Then moved over to the next pane of glass to paint a yellow smiley face for her. E was completely fascinated and kept touching the glass where her brother had painted.
(And, yes, the museum was that empty! It pays to arrive during lunch time. 😉 )
We’ll have to plan another visit soon. I had forgotten how fun this museum was.
Do you have a favorite children’s museum in your area?
