Project 52 Photos 2016: Week 30 Tomatoes

Project 52 Photos: Week 30 – Tomatoes

July 30, 2016 Sarah Coggins

We have yet to put in an actual garden in the backyard here. I really miss the small raised bed one we created at our first house. Someday we’ll make time to install one here. Maybe next year. For now though, we’re reaping the benefits of our small container garden.

Cherry, sun gold, and ground cherry tomatoes.

I managed to pluck quite a few tomatoes from our 3 plants on Thursday evening. We ate most of them that night with cucumber from a recent Produce Box delivery. A nice, simple cool summer evening salad.

Do you have a garden? Which is your favorite vegetable or herb to grow?

Yum!! We have exactly 1 tomato plant in a container. But we already harvested quite a few cherry tomatoes, too. They are so sweet and yummy.

They are so good! Sometimes I get none because my son will pluck them straight from the plant and eat them immediately.
