LOVE Around Virginia: Bracey Welcome Center digital scrapbook page

Road Trip: Love Sign at Bracey Welcome Center

May 1, 2017 Sarah Coggins

The boys spent the weekend at their first Cuboree so we girls hit the road and headed north. We took a quick day trip to Virginia to see my sister & family. On the way up, we stopped at the Bracey Welcome Center off I-85. Naturally, we took a minute to cheese it up for the LOVE sign photo op.

My daughter had fun posing and exploring the large letters. I had intentionally parked away from the playground knowing, if she saw it, she’d be begging to play. This sign made for a fun little leg stretch before we finished out our morning drive. And, as soon as we arrived at my sister’s house, she was straight to their playset to climb, slide, and swing.

Grateful that, while it was a bit warm and humid, the weather overall was perfect for the drive and a bit of outdoor time with her cousins.

Have you found interesting local artwork during your travels?

I can't recall anything interesting lately. Our drives have been too short for a stop or so long that we get out, go pee and get back in ASAP. We need to find a cute sign like this.
