Simple Sidewalk Painting Fun

My son and I had a great time sidewalk painting. We made our own ‘paint’ using corn starch, food coloring and water thanks to directions from Pink and Green Mama blog. There are no specific measurements – just mix the 3 ingredients. I second her suggestion of combining the corn starch and food coloring in a muffin tin, carry outside, and then add water. Keeps the mess outside!

Sidewalk Painting: Paints

This is a very simple project and lots of fun. It kept my son entertained for about 30 minutes which is huge for any craft project so we’ll definitely be doing this again.

Sidewalk Painting

The sidewalk leading from the driveway to the front porch was colorful and fun for a few days until the rain came and washed it all away.
