Simple Star Wars BB-8 Card

I made this cute Star Wars BB-8 card in early February for my son on Valentine’s Day, but it could be used for any occasion and seemed appropriate to share today for Star Wars Day (i.e., “May the Fourth be with you”).

I literally just dug through my scrapbooking scraps to put it together. Sometimes it pays to hoard those random extra pieces of paper. Sometimes.

I used a free cut file from Something to Craft About and my Silhouette to cut out BB-8 from white and orange cardstock. Then pieced the sections together. And drew in the eyes (? I haven’t seen the movie so hopefully that’s right).

I used my paper edger to roughen the edges of the gray cardstock to to give it a little dimension and texture. On the inside I handwrote “Will you BB our Valentine?” before Trent and I signed it. Of course, you could change up the sentiment or write a basic note to use it for any occasion.

Do you have a Star Wars fan that would love this card?

Supplies: plain white card; white, orange, and gray cardstock; Making Memories paper edger; Micron black pen; adhesive; BB-8 cut file.
