SpectroMagic Parade

On our recent trip to Walt Disney World, we stopped to enjoy the SpectroMagic Parade at the Magic Kingdom one evening. I took a lot of photos of the parade floats with my digital camera. None are particularly great as they have a good bit of blur due to movement, but I loved them just the same. Together they help tell the story of the colorful evening parade down Main Street USA.

Supplies: Office Date, Office Note Rip, Tape1, & Office Red Label from Rhonna Farrer’s Office Supply Kit; paper & frames from Peppermint Creative’s After Midnight Kit; Antique Type & Angelina fonts. Inspired by Jan 11th of dw2008.

I used a frame template to easily organize 12 photos from the SpectroMagic Parade into a single page layout. A few labels help note which characters were featured in a few of them. I completed the page with a small journaling area at the bottom noting the date and event.

I hope this inspires you if you have less than perfect photos of an event or place. They can still be a beautiful edition to your album and tell the story sometimes better than a ‘perfect’ shot might do.
