Confession: we don’t pack lunches on school days. My son loves the cafeteria and making his own selections. Given that he’s quite the vegetable lover (full salad – hold the dressing), I’m okay with that. But we do pack snacks. One for school and one for after-school. I like to keep a variety of options that are easy to pack, healthy, and will fill him up.

MARVEL Chewy Granola Bars - Super Snacks for Little (and big!) Super Heroes #MARVELSnackBar

I was thrilled to find these MARVEL Chewy Granola Bars while at Target stocking up on snacks for our latest track in to year round school. The bars are 40% larger than the standard 28g chewy bars which help fill up my little superhero more.

The bar packaging features 6 fun character wrappers featuring Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, and Spider Man. I like how these designs make it easy to have a fun “superhero” snack all with just a simple pluck from the pantry and drop into his backpack.

Snack Notes for Super Snacks

Occasionally though, I like to add a little something extra to inspire him during the day. Since I’m not packing lunches, I call these my “snack notes.” Of course, they could be used in lunches too or even tucked straight into your child’s backpack.

Super Snack Cards #MARVELSnackBar

I created 9 different “snack notes” with a superhero theme. To create your own, download the printable (link below – free for personal use only). Print it onto 8.5×11 white cardstock. Cut apart the cards. Write a short note and stick to the MARVEL Chewy Granola Bar with washi tape. Then pack the snack and note into your child’s backpack for them to find at snack time.

The bars also make a great on-the-go snack for “big” superheroes. I stash them in my diaper bag for my own quick snack when I’m out and about. Super Moms deserve super snacks too, right?

Before recycling your box, don’t forget to test your superhero knowledge and cut out the Collector Card from the back. There are 4 Collector Cards in all to collect including Black Widow.

Thanks! Those bars are pretty easy to spot with the fun box packaging too. Dylan has loved taking them to school and I bet your kids will too.
