Continuing with my theme this year of homemade gifts for all of my son’s playgroup buddies, I made this adorable toddler apron for our one and only girl in the group so far. (As of Feb 2012, we will have 9 boys and 1 girl – doesn’t even seem statistically possible!) Since Miss C enjoys helping her mom in the kitchen, I thought something pretty that would help keep her clothes clean would be a good fit.
The front has a floral patterned cotton and the back is a coordinating solid green.
I hope she enjoys many cooking (and maybe even a few crafting) adventures in her new apron.
Supplies: Montessori Child’s Apron Pattern from Sew Liberated; cotton fabrics from JoAnn Fabrics; Coats & Clark thread; elastic; velcro.
