tummy time

September 29, 2009 Sarah Coggins

Yesterday I checked out a few of the blogs participating in the Fall 2009 “Challenge Blog” Blog Hop. The hop begins at scrapsketch. For their sketch challenge I created this layout about Dylan’s dislike for tummy time:

Supplies: miscellaneous black & white cardstock; October Afternoon patterned paper; Making Memories patterned paper, felt letter stickers, & eyelet; Scenic Route arrows; Signo Uniball white pen; Micron black pen; black stamp ink.

SO cute! Very creative use of those arrows, Sarah! My dd was the same way. Would NOT go on her tummy EVER! In fact, I have always believed that the reason I ended up having a c-section was because she refused to go on her tummy to be born! They tried to turn her to her tummy and she wouldn't budge! lol

Now that she's a teenager, she occasionally sleeps on her tummy, but it's taken years! lol

Looks great! I love how simple it is and yet so put together. And of course, how could anyone resist Dylan? ;)

It's so funny how things change. When my kids were born we were told to keep them on their stomach and never put them on their back! Cute layout.

Mommy confession: I always cave and end up snuggling Cameron after he cries and wails over tummy time. :) I'm a bad mom, I know. ;)
